25W power output provides reliability that together with extensive signalling features and enhanced channel capacity maximises return on investment. The aluminium construction helps to disperse heat and absorb vibrations for increased durability.
Signalling
To fit more organisations the VX-2000 series is equipped with a range of features for selective signalling. Features like 2 tone, 5 tone, CTCSS and DCS signalling provide a lot of possibilities to direct your calls. With the addition of scanning functions like priority scan, dual watch scan, follow-me scan and talk around scan the VX-2000 provide tools for complete control of your communications.
Just as the portable radios from Vertex the mobile VX- range offers ARTS™, a feature that informs the user if the radio loses connection with other ARTS™ devices allowing the user to move back in range.
